Place Based Education
Aims:
The research project focuses on exploring the concept and implementation of place-based education. The project begins with a systematic review of existing literature to establish a comprehensive understanding of place-based education, its principles, and its outcomes. It then examines how place-based education can be effectively applied in varied urban settings in Israel, taking into account the unique cultural, social, and environmental contexts of these communities. Through this focused lens, the project aims to discern the benefits and challenges of integrating place-based learning approaches to enhance educational experiences and outcomes in diverse urban populations.
