Tamar Lieberthal

School student

Short biography

I’m a high school student majoring in theatre, law, and Jewish philosophy. Over the past four years, I have received excellence certificates for my grades. When I was younger, I lived in London and studied in an international environment.

Since primary school, I’ve been socially active. I volunteered with refugee children while raising money to enable them to participate in summer activities. At the same time, I raised money for at-risk youth. I was active in my school’s student council, participating in many of its committees. I was also part of a social organisation (Pink Front) that fights for democracy and equal rights.

Research project

My research examines how students from different socioeconomic backgrounds perceive homeroom class discussions on current events following October 7th. It focuses on Hebrew public high schools in Tel Aviv-Jaffa.
