ACTivate History in action
This material was created by students participating in the “Activate History” project — a space where learning about the past meets taking action in the present.
Through hands-on activities and creative teamwork, students explored what activism really means — from historical movements that changed the world to everyday actions that can make a difference today. They learned how people throughout history have stood up for justice, equality, and human rights, and reflected on how those stories connect to the challenges we face now.
Inspired by what they discovered, students used their creativity to design quizzes, posters, and videos aimed at spreading awareness and inspiring their peers. Each piece of work reflects their curiosity, collaboration, and growing understanding of how history can empower people to create change.
The “Activate History” project isn’t just about learning dates and events — it’s about learning to think critically, care deeply, and act confidently. It shows that when young people engage with history, they don’t just study it — they activate it.
